Rodney Jordan, bass, has performed and recorded with some of America's finest jazz artists, including Ellis Marsalis, Curtis Fuller, Alvin Fielder, Marcus Printup, Mulgrew Miller, James Williams, Milt Jackson, George Coleman, and Russell Gunn. His recording with Russell Gunn was nominated for a Grammy as Best Contemporary Jazz Recording in 2000. In 2001, Jordan joined the Florida State University faculty, where he currently teaches in the Jazz Studies Department. He is a member of the Marcus Roberts Trio.
