What is the cost of the application?
There is no application fee.
When will I find out if my band is a finalist?
An independent panel of SCJ clinicians and college-level educators will undergo a blind review process, determining the twelve finalist bands by early December. Finalists will each receive a visit from an SCJ clinician during the month of February, in advance of their Savannah trip.
What do the winners of the competition receive?
- First prize: $5,000
- Second prize: $2500
- Third prize: $1000
- All participants receive a travel stipend.
